It's human nature to belittle. People wish to feel superior to others, and just can't help but mock and shame another person. It's the feeling of dominance, which is sprung from a pack instinct long forgotten. Dogs, Wolves, and Primates still belittle each other today.
This is what those kinds of people are. The animal-like dregs of society, who deep within themselves are making a mask to hide their own feelings. They are what brings shame to us, for they are expressing their actions of hate, the core of sin that lies in each and every one of us. The only good thing that comes of experiencing this kind of hurt is that you grow kinder from it, because you don't want to do that too another person.
